Glenn Loury

Glenn C. Loury is a distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences (emeritus) at Brown University, where he has taught since 2005. Loury was the first African-American professor of economics at Harvard University to gain tenure. His latest book is Self-Censorship (2025, Polity, Cambridge).
