Mira Rapp-Hooper
Mira Rapp-Hooper is a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution, senior adviser at The Asia Group, and a former special assistant to the president and senior director for East Asia and Oceania at the White House National Security Council. She is the author of Shields of the Republic: The Triumph and Peril of America’s Alliances (Harvard, 2020) and, with Rebecca Lissner, An Open World: How America Can Win the Contest for the 21st Century (Yale, 2020).
